Travel Journal Fridays - MILAN parte due

Pure pastry decadence. These images are from two of my favorite bakeries in Milan. Il Forno dei Navigli, the mouth-watering focaccia there is out of this world [drool].. My Milanese boyfriend will argue otherwise, but to me its the best in MIlan. It’s salted to perfection, warm and fluffy, olive oil drizzle, thick but not heavy. Its perfect. 

The other bakery is near Brera on via Solferino, called Pattini Panificio. They have the best focaccine and pizzette. Crispier than regular focaccia but still just as fluffy on the inside. I could eat a whole bag of 10 in one sitting..
